I came across a book at the library awhile back that showed much of the armor and weapons from the Lord of the Rings trilogy movies. In 1997 Michel Guyot set out to build a medieval castle ... the medieval way. In a clearing in the woods of northern Burgandy, Michel and close to 40 helpers are toiling away, using the techniques of the 13th century and local natural materials to achieve their goal.
